The Federation will be preparing materials for the advocacy tool kit.  These tools will include items that will help Federation members engage in the following advocacy activities:

- Meet with legislators and other policy makers
- Host policy maker visits in your community school
- Generate phone calls and letters to educate policy makers on community schools
- Organization actions in support of community schools
- Talk with the media to generate public awareness of community schools
- Create talking points on community schools so there is a consistent message
- Summary of research that demonstrates the impact of community schools
