By Train
The Civic Opera House is conveniently located near both Union Train Station and the Richard Ogilvie Transportation Center (formerly Northwestern Station). Union Station is bound by the following streets: Clinton (west); Canal (east); Jackson (south); and Adams (north). The Ogilvie Transportation Center is bound by the following streets: Clinton (west); Canal (east); Madison (south)/ main entrance; and Washington (north). By CTA
There are multiple CTA Bus lines that stop near the Civic Opera House. Buses that travel Washington, Madison and Wacker all stop near the Civic. CTA Bus stops on the North (east bound- Washington) and South (west bound - Madison) ends of the building include 20, 20x, 127, 157, 124, and 60.
The CTA (Elevated) train stop nearest the Civic Opera House is the Transfer station at Washington and Wells. This is a stop for the Brown, Orange, and Pink lines. If you depart at this station, you will have a two block walk west down Washington Street to Wacker.
